Ryan Lester

As Proud Politics said, "Ryan is no stranger to Toronto Centre." He has lived in Toronto Centre for more than a decade. A local volunteer and longtime advocate, he has a reputation for getting results – for setting goals and working hard to meet them.

In 2018, Ryan was your candidate in the Toronto Municipal Election for Ward 13 Toronto Centre. He put forward a platform that focused on building a safer city, housing affordability, reducing congestion, and investing in new transit infrastructure.

In 2019, Ryan was your candidate in the 43rd Canadian General Election for Toronto Centre. As an LGBTQ2 candidate Ryan was proud to bring his lived experience to the Conservative Party of Canada. And he was proud to bring what he's learned as a director with organizations working to reduce barriers for LGBTQ2 people, and other underrepresented groups, right here in Toronto Centre.

Ryan is an is an alumnus of Ryerson* University’s Public Administration & Governance program and wants to bring together everyone who believes in a balance between fiscal responsibility, progressive social policy, and individual rights and responsibilities.

Ryan looks forward to building an inclusive, safe, and prosperous future for Toronto Centre and Canada.

For me, This election is about how we get Canada back on its feet and rebuild our economy. There is a simple choice: Canada's Conservatives will focus relentlessly on jobs, wages, and getting Canada’s economy and finances back on track as quickly as possible. Or a reckless coalition of the Liberals and the NDP who want unaffordable spending commitments that would leave Canada with unsustainable levels of debt and unemployment. The Liberals and NDP are all the same. They are all part of the problem. We can’t afford more of the same. Only Canada's Conservatives will secure Canada’s future. If Toronto Centre elects a Liberal or NDP MP and Justin Trudeau stays Prime Minister:
+ It will mean more of the same.
+ More economic decline and unemployment.
+ More reckless spending.
+ More fiscal waste and incompetence.
+ More entitlement and corruption.
+ More policies that favour the elites and insiders.

They don’t understand business and don’t have a plan to get Canadians back to work. They think Ottawa-knows-best, from childcare to jobs. The Liberals and their friends will decide what’s best for you and your family.
The Liberals, backed by the NDP are squandering money without any regard for the consequences. And worse, they aren’t helping those who need it the most. They plan to keep up their big spending and big debt agenda long after the COVID crisis has passed.

This government just cares about image, not results. They overpromise and under-deliver.

The Liberals don’t believe the rules apply to them, and the NDP, Greens, and the Bloc keep propping them up and blocking any attempt to find the truth or demand accountability.

The Liberals, NDP, Greens and the Bloc all represent more of the same. More of the same waste and debt. More of the same unemployment and uncertainty.

A vote for any other party is simply a vote for Justin Trudeau. We can’t afford more of the same.

There is only one choice to secure Canada’s future: Canada’s Conservatives.
